Detailed Info
The resort is raised twenty or so metres above the beach offering lovely views over the lagoon where seabirds and locals fish for small bait fish. There's a large terrace fronting the 2 restaurants - one for couples and one for families, as well as the sunset bar which overlooks the infinity family pool with water slide. There's a good kids club with playground, a tennis court and a traditional style spa and gym set at the back of the property abutting the hillside. Perched on a small hill is the wooden wedding chapel with ocean views (seats around 40 guests). The hills surrounding the resort offer good walking tracks with stunning views of the surrounding islands.
Accommodation is in seven different room categories. On the west side of the main reception / restaurant area are the honeymoon bures set facing the beach in one line. These are in duplex bures (2 rooms per building), with a stone wall separating the two veranda's. The open plan interior offers king bed with a raiswed bathroom boasting large jacuzzi tub.
The family side of the resort offers the bulk of the resorts accommodation with three lines of accommodation, all rooms categories offering air-conditioning and satelitte TV. Set at the back of the property are the rainforest bures. Each bure accommodates one family bure (with four bedrooms and two bathrooms) and two separate studio rooms at the ends (featuting a double bed and bathroom), which are the chepest room categories and suitable for couples only.
In the middle line of bures with some ocean views from the terraces are the garden deluxe rooms (featuring a double and two single beds in a studio style room) and the 1-bed bures (sleeping 6 people with one master bedroom and ensuite bathroom) - the latter being ideal for parents wanting a little more privacy.
The island and beachfront bures are housed in quad bures (four rooms categories per bure - two beachfront rooms face the ocean and two island rooms at the back facing the gardens). Interiors are identical with a lounge featuring two single beds, a master bedroom with king size bed and a decent size bathroom with access from both the lounge and master bedroom.
