Nadi Airport is the location of the international airport and has plenty of affordable accommodation including large brand resorts on Denarau island. The best beaches and water activities are in the Mamanuca islands, a one hour boat journey from Nadi. Backpackers head further north to the Yasawa islands which are less developped and less commercial, whilst adventurers head to the outer islands of Vanua Levu, Taveuni, Beqa and Kadavu all of which have world class scuba diving and traditional villages to visit..
