The Outrigger Lagoon Fiji (part of the Hawaiian chain) offers a traditional Fijian setting with ocean rooms in a three story hotel block and plantation style thatch roof bungalows in a garden setting. Although set on the oceanfront, the focus here is inward and upon a huge landscaped swimming pool. The beach itself is picturesque although the lagoon is not good for swimming or snorkelling.

is officially rated as a 5 star resort. The resort is set on a coarse white sand beach, amongst 40 acres of tall palms and lush tropical landscaped gardens. The accommodation is comprised of 207 deluxe rooms, most with sweeping ocean views and 47 traditional thatched bures (bungalows).
