Resort Information
Located on Nananu-i-Ra Island off the north eastern tip of the main island of Viti Levu and facing the full brunt of the south-east trade winds which blow consistently between May and December, Safari Lodge takes full advantage of its prime location by providing Fiji’s premier water sports resort. With a huge range of both windsurfing and kite surfing equipment and repair tools as well as guided tours and professional lessons (individual or group), Safari lodge offers great value 7-night packages. Both windsurfing and kite-surfing are excellent right off the beach - kite-surfers can take 4-km or 7km boat rides for guided return journeys back to the lodge. Some of the best scuba diving sites are found a 35-minute boat ride to the world renowned Vatu-i-Ra Passage with exciting drift dives and pelagics (often on live-aboard itineraries); snorkelling is good off the beach, and exceptional on guided snorkelling trips to outer reefs; whilst quality sea-kayaks are available to exp[lore the coastline and surrounding islands.
Dining is in the communal lodge which acts as the heartbeat of the community with its large lounge, Wi-Fi Internet, bar with long outdoor benches, shop, massage deck and sail repair area.
